  • The cutting edge is ground to 25° primary & 30° secondary - Blade made from high quality oil hardened tool steel, 59-61 rockwell “C” hardness
  • Great for planing up to a right angle such as a stopped rabbet, precision trimming of mortise & tenon joints, etc.
  • Knurled turn knobs for smooth adjustments

  • This Clifton 770 Bull Nose Plane fulfills the need for a straight-forward bull nose plane enabling the user to plane close to an abutting section of wood & avoiding tear-out. It is a light handy plane often used for cutting rebate stop shoulders. The body is machined from quality grey iron castings and is precision ground on the sole and sides. The lever arm is also made of grey iron. The cutting iron fits smoothly onto the machined pad in the body and can be finely adjusted by means of the screw. The finish is bright ground and all edges have been rounded over to fit comfortably in the hand. Note: Honing is recommended before use.   Made in Sheffield, England.
