  • Varnished Beechwood handle 

  • 1/2" (12 mm) Mortise Chisel made by Crown Tools. This chisel has a stiff thick blade for clearing out wood waste & has wide side edges that help keep the chisel square when working in the mortise. The mortice chisel has a leather disc shock absorber to help absorb mallet blows. The varnished Beech handle has a steel ferrule around handle-end for use with chisel mallets.  Made in Sheffield, England.
